A beginners adventure into film from an audience member to behind the camera

Short film of the Week: Refuge

Caught this interestingly shot film over on dvxuser. The director trey creates a tense relationship between two friends a down and out gambler and his fed up buddy who seems to get stuck bailing him out of trouble in the middle of an impending mysterious storm. Its shot in black and white which really gives the shots he uses some nice emphasis on his smart looking compositions.

It was shot with a Canon HV30 camcorder and various lighting equipment.

Enjoy

I think the videography and editing is awesome. Black and white really make it very interesting.
